We came out strong on Sunday getting 2 brakes and putting up the scores early to make it 2-0. After that, we started to fall apart and Carolina capitalized on it (Carolina over Black 15-11). Jared was crushing us and making our zone pay the prices for not respecting his hammers. K-Bo, Jenn and Lauren were a tough trio to beat, especially with their super-fast cuts and great handling skills. Big shout out to Brennen Z for making some sweet catches all game and keeping his team alive!
Even though we played ourselves throughout the game, I think we developed some synergy and flow for future games.
THE BLACKLIST (shoutouts)
The ZOG- had some huge pulls making everyone go “ooooh”
Patrick L- fresh to the league scene, came out on the field and killed it! He made great upline throws and got his first score!
Caroline- was very effective in our zone helping set the trap, and kept saving the team with her upline cuts.
Max D- with quite a few spicy inside throws, did some WORK as a handler
Clyde A- Talk about nonchalant, doesn’t even finish turning around before throwing a dime. WHOS GOT TIME FOR THAT?!
