Week one went really well. We didn’t keep stats but we learned how to flow as a team. The first half we were down by a lot but with steady determination and grit, BLACK CAME BACK (back in black & emo never dies amiright???) and pulled out a win on universe point. There were multiple players who have never played a real game of ultimate before and learned quickly what a vert stack was. Super proud of how quickly these newbies caught on with a lot of information thrown at them. Special shoutout to Bianca Coll and Trevi Perez. Excited to see how far you come as a players this season. MVP to Nate Kiker for lots of great throws and catches which helped us flow on the field. Fun day overall!
