On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, The Best Friends played two nearly identical games, against Weeinie Huck jr. and the Frisboos. In both games the best friends could not score for the first 4 points, going down a large sum in both games, but like a tsunami the power of friendship came surging to bring the scoreline just within reach, but the waves of friendship crashed and left only a sandy beach of defeat. The friends just could not overcome a slow first half. Against The Frisboos, TK and Ben’s surefire handling made gathering break chances difficult and their counter attack was too strong, with Carstens quick deep cuts impossible to cover. and against the Weenie Huck jr’s Naomi, Rosie and B.O.B formed a solid defensive core making it difficult for the besties to take advantage of break opportunities. In Spite of the tough losses The power of friendship hopes to surge back this sunday and take two games. Will they come out stronger this sunday, i sure hope so.
