No draft rankings yet? For summer, the biggest and most important league of all three leagues? Seriously? Alright, I’ll throw something out there. Not all heroes wear capes.
These come in tiers. You can interpret them for yourselves.
Tier 4: It’s about the journey, not the destination
8) Pink Bats (Jenna and Evan)
Steven typically does not come to league consistently. Which is too bad.
I think Tessa will have a lot of assists. Probably some good hucks to Van and Sam.
I wonder if Van is playing college frisbee somewhere. He’s pretty athletic. Maybe too athletic. I think he may be playing a real sport instead. Shame.
I don’t think Evan drafted this team.
Tier 3: Stranger things have happened
7) Purple Cranes (Nevin and Aymo)
If all we were ranking on was speed, this team would be number one.
Wow, they drafted a lot of college players.
Unfortunately, college players turn the frisbee a lot.
It’s cute that Nevin and Aymo drafted their coach with their first pick.
This team gets a bump in the rankings if Nevin and Aymo play more. Same with UF’s team.
6) White Panthers (Nathan and Danny)
It’s nice to see Nathan up and about!
This is a pretty balanced team. Lots of handlers.
This team gets a bump in the rankings if they all decide to try. Maybe due to a draft write-up insulting their effort.
5) Black Owls (Joe and Ellie)
Who’s going to handle besides Joe and Davis? Maybe Jack? Bryant some? I think they’re all better as cutters. They could have used some later round handlers to free them up.
I wonder if Jack will show up?
I think this team will struggle against zone.
It’s funny when Ellie yells at Joe. But only Joe.
4) Grey Bats (Aiden and Thomas)
Brad and Nic were steals, Jenna and Evan should have gotten them.
This team gets a boost if there’s no wind.
This team looks strong on paper, but I still think they’re going to turn the disc too much. Especially against zone.
Brad will hurt himself, probably while drinking, but still play. I hope he will be OK.
Tier 2: Maybe if there’s wind?
3) Blue Butterflies (Michelle and Zach)
Naomi and Michelle seem too good to pair.
Zach took Jacob in the second. I bet he regrets not drafting him in the sixth two seasons ago.
I will be shocked if this team plays person defense more than a handful of times all season.
I think it’s sweet how Zach drafts mostly the same people every league.
2) Yellow Otters (Barker and Fletcher)
This team is old but will probably try harder than the kids.
I bet this team runs a good zone.
I bet this team struggles on defense if there’s no wind or rain.
But, if one person could make your whole team good at defense by trying hard enough, it would be Josh.
Tier 1: It’s yours to lose
1) Green Gophers (Jemima and Lucas)

How is Kate still unguardable in her 30s with 2 kids? Must have a good physical therapist.
Carsten and Brandon went too late.
College players typically do not draft this well. Good for them.
Pat has been playing really well lately. Hopefully the finals doesn’t overlap with volleyball league.
