Well hello, ye honorable and exceptional frisbee chuckers of Gainesville’s Fall Ultimate League. I am The Frisblargh, benevolent force of spirit, integrity, and competition for the sport of Ultimate. When “the disc don’t lie” is called, and justice is served, you have me to thank. When two players amicably resolve a contentious situation, I am there. When you rip a sick sky from the likes of Adam Carr, it is I who raise you up from the bottoms of your feet.
Thank you all for joining this righteous group known as the Gainesville Ultimate community. The season is already off to a superb start, and, while some may claim that the Tori/Adam team is an indomitable force of frisbee acumen that is impossible to overcome, The Frisblargh knows better.
Perhaps the Captains should have been a bit more heavy-handed in penalizing the placement of Airbender Fleming, but stiff competition breeds the sweetest of victories, and now it’s up to the rest of league to step up and show these favored frisbullies who is boss. You’re on notice, Navy! The Frisbargh is a harsh, but fair, mistress, and it LOVES a good underdog story. Happy chucking, and remember to tuck a disc under your pillow so that good Friskarma may favor you.
