The forces of Middle Earth, led by David S.word Huckins, amassed under The Tree of Lothlorien for their final stand against the forces of darkness. Sauron, The Deceiver, prepared to strike his final blow against Middle Earth by deploying his most powerful and ruthless agents, the Best Friends, to obliterate the David S.word Huckins army.
The odds looked insurmountable, until Alek “Elrond” Hartzog appeared just before the battle was underway. He presented the sword that was broken, now reforged, Anduril, Flame of the West, to the army, and gave hope to the people of Middle Earth. The battle cry of the David S.word Huckins squad was thunderous as the blade was held aloft, and, as if in response to their cries, Manwe’s agents, the broad-winged eagles, Bhagyaihir and Jackorondor descended upon the battlefield to aid in the last stand of the free people of Middle Earth.
Many of Sauron’s minions fled at the sight of Anduril and the eagles, and thus, the two forces’ numbers were far more evenly matched as they prepared to fight. Even so, Sauron’s forces were considerable and deadly, and the outcome of the battle was by no means certain.
As the two forces clashed together, however, it became clear that Ilúvatar was with the people of Middle Earth. No matter how fierce the forces of Sauron were, it was as if some unseen force worked against them. Their blows fell on empty air, and they simply couldn’t seem to gain any ground throughout the battle.
Meanwhile, David S.word Huckins and the people of Middle Earth fought like their ancient ancestors, with magical alacrity and precision. They flashed about with inhuman speed, and worked together as one, shifting and surging to help each other and prevent their enemy from gaining any quarter against them.
When the dust cleared, David S.word Huckins claimed victory, and held the forces of darkness at bay for at least one more day. This was but one battle, and the war is not over. May the light of Ilúvatar protect and preserve them in the challenges to come.
TLDR: Nothing seemed to go the way of the Best Friends yesterday, and David S. Huckins was working like a well-oiled machine. Special S/O to Ani for playing all game as our only FMP, and S/O to the entire Best Friends squad for playing with spirit, poise, and grace, on what was undoubtedly a very frustrating day. There are better days ahead for y’all for sure.
