Banana Cut over Carolina 15-14
Super competitive game today against Carolina. The largest lead of the game was 6-4 by Yellow which was quickly closed back to 6-6 by Carolina. After that the game was only 1 point margins back and forth. Yellow lead the entire game until Carolina took a 13-12 lead. We held on O and fortunately got a break back to take the lead 14-13. They tied it up and we had a clean O point on Universe to win on a sick sky grab by Birthday Boy Nick McGrane.
Carolina was super steady all game and didn’t give us any many turnovers to work with. Unmil was all over the field throwing and catching scores. Carolina was effective getting large 30 yard chunks against our D while we had to dink and dunk it and work hard for every point. Shout out to Lauren H. for playing savage the entire game versus our two ladies. Ruddy joined us for the first time this season and was quite a help getting open on O and taking some tough assignments on D. Spirit was great and the game was ultra-fun and competitive. Get well soon to Captain Jen who looked miserable on the sidelines but was still motivating and coaching her team
