Game 1: Pink 5 White 8
This one just didn’t go our way. After posting a huge come from behind win against White earlier in the season, they had Pink’s number in the second matchup where our 10 turns put us in a difficult position and gave us an early deficit that we couldn’t overcome before the time cap struck. Devon Keyt had 3 scores and Billy O’Bryan had 3 assists, but overall this wasn’t our most well rounded outing of the season. White has a deep squad when they’re available and they showed it in this game.
Game 2: Pink 9 Royal 4
With the week 2 loss to this same team in the back of our minds, Pink went out and showed Royal they meant business in the revenge game. Pink loaded the stat sheet in this matchup: 8 players with an assist, 4 players with multiple scores, and 4 players with multiple D’s made for an excellent bounce back from the loss in game 1. The cooler weather must’ve helped as the energy was as high as its been all season and helped Pink keep their foot on the gas from beginning to end.
