Once again, Carolina shows how we really work as a team. Our stats are spread across the board, no more than 1 or 2 ticks per box so it is hard to say who our shining star was here at week 5 of the Summer 22 League. Our zone is slowly coming together. I just need to learn my left and right and we need to communicate a little more. Chris Bailey, Zach, and Michelle have been killing the handler space.
With yellow, we lost on universe 8-9 but it was a fun game. We were missing Mac but they were missing Luke so I think it was still a fair game. We were down at half but were able to catch up. It was really their handler movement and precise throws that won them the game. We were able to shut them down downfield until a pretty huck or hammer went off. I can’t remember his name right now but the guy with the numb foot after hard cap went off was a great cutter. Mike and Nate had a disc spiking competition and all the discs lost.
Black was fun to play as well, we got em 9-5. Emory was tiring to play man on and Sam is just so good at stuff. They were able to work it through our zone pretty well. They also utilize all their players really well.
