Week 3
Forest v Cardinal
final score: 15-5, Cardinal win.
The game can be summarized in one short statement. Cardinal is a bunch of killers. They have height and they have athleticism and they have stamina. They also have probably the strongest roster from top to bottom of any team in league and I anticipate them making the finals this season.
That being said, Forest was short by quite a few players this week and it did not help matters any. We had a lot of great plays: joe grabbing a blades throw while sliding on my his back, Stephen smith hitting the ground, Tom brown working hard as 5 in our zone, new players Jesse and Ellie continuing to learn on the go.
Shoutout to Cardinal for just straight killing it all game. I don’t have particular names for you because its really a team effort and flow that makes Cardinal so dangerous, more than any one player.
Forest MVP for week 3 goes to Steven Nguy for cool, calm, and collected handler work. He bobs and weaves and never makes the person with the disc feel pressured to make a throw. He continues to be a killer part of our Forest squad.
Forest is looking forward to a comeback next week (hopefully with a full roster for the first time this season)
