Coming into week 3 we knew we would be missing our captain Billy and his lovely girlfriend Taylor. So unfortunately the playing field was ever so slightly in the Cutterflies favor. Regardless of that, we were buzzing from the big win the week prior. We came out hot on defense and made the first sting. We quickly took the lead 4-2 and were once again buzzing along. The experience and expertise of the Cutterflies came up with a plan and quickly executed it to perfection. They broke us and took the lead 5-4 and then half 8-6. They had us figured out and continued to cut our buzz short and ended the game 15-10.
Cutterflies honorable mentions:
Andy Sciullo cut into any defense we threw at him and had a team high 6 assists! Ben Schreibman had 5 scores today tying his own teammate and goal leader from last season the one and only Plant who had 5 scores himself. Zach Floyd had himself a nice day with 4 assists and a score. Last but not least, Michelle and Nes really made a huge impact with consistent and reliable handling and defense all throughout the game. Overall great performance for all the Cutterflies!

Liz Rosema is quickly becoming a steal of the draft for our team. She had an amazing deep cut and score off a huck in what was a super impressive play. She then threw a pass to Ellie in the end zone in which Ellie sprinted into a fully extended horizontal lunge into a barrel roll score! Trevor saved his captains ass on a deep huck punt that was tipped off of Zach’s hands onto Fletchers hands and then right into Trevor’s hands and then into the end zone shortly after. Fletcher lead our team in scoring and Ellie had the most Deeez. Our buzz was silenced this week but will be back this Sunday for the first double header of the season and a matchup against an undefeated Huckery Caterpillars. See y’all Sunday!
