The Dump Beetles Took their Job Seriously Against The Murder Hornets

The disappointment of the loss to The Hunkering Caterpillars must have carried over and then some to the match up against Jeff and Clyde’s Dump Beetles, because once we fell behind there was no catching up. The murder hornets saved themselves from some embarrassment by rallying in the second half to end the game 11-8 with The Dump Beetles winning. (Sorry Picke’Ems folx)

The Dump Beetles is one of those teams that gels more and more as the season progresses and was unquestionably demonstrated in their performance against us on Sunday.

Mean stuff that Sam and Alek did to Carsten and Tommy: Sam is like Adam Carr, pretty much unstoppable. And poor Carsten was ‘covering’ him all game. Then Sam proceeded to huck to Alek on turns where Tommy was stuck covering him…needless to say, things ended very well for Alek😊

The only things I really remember from this game are that The Murder Hornets learned how to play force backhand as a unit and it’s still always Summer in the endzone. Oh, and Thomas Dolce effectively boxed and D’ed Ben in a crowd. Clyde was a real pain to cover as a handler and played honest defense.

As much as I hate to lose, I do enjoy the competition. This league would be so boring if we were not struggling when playing one another. Savor the competition because it is making the whole community better.
