We only got to play one full game this past week, and it was against the Green Machine, or whatever they are calling themselves now. We won 10-7 after a well fought game.
In this high scoring affair, speed killed, and Royal’s Kaylen Chiang is the definition of speedy. With 2 assists and 4 scores, Kay pretty much did everything for us this game – she made our handlers look good, ran her defenders into the ground, and contributed to almost every point somehow. This report is really just a Kay appreciation post… she got so many compliments from Green, as they were impressed and probably slightly jealous of her ability to just keep running in the (absolutely miserable) humidity.
Cooper had a great game for Green, directing traffic, dishing the disc to everyone with accuracy, and staying involved on the defensive end.
