We won this game due to a forfeit and appreciate Tax giving us a break. Shout out to Andrew for showing up and playing 5 on 5 with us while we waited for game 2.
Game 2: Juke vs Mermarsh

We started this game off hot and built a lead of 5-2 after facing the mermaids that just got done playing a game savage so I think we had the upper hand. Even though they only had 7 players they are all experienced and very well-rounded. Nathan and Billy as deep threats are not fun to cover considering my team told me I didn’t draft anyone tall lol. Tom, Asa, Reagan, Jono, and Anton all did a great job handling and cutting as a group. They brought the score to 4-5 before we took half at 6-4. After the half, due to us having the first game off and fresh legs we played well and didn’t turn the disc or take any risky shots. Evan had himself a stellar game with 5 assists and 2 scores. David had himself 3 scores and had a great day finding the open space. Ellie again had a strong showing on defense with 2 D’s and also a score. Our entire team came to play and have made so much progress working together and playing small ball and relying on our short quick roster 🙂
