Another fun spirited game for Orange aka NOT Puce aka Duck Tales this week. Orange took on White for game 2 and came out on top at 15 – 4. White was down many players and their fearless leader in a cast but this did not deter them from showing how talented this team is! We are very unsure whether half time was taken at 7-1 or 8-1 but regardless White came out in the second half with will, determination and effort scoring 3x as many points.
Orange’s goal this game was to hit our tallest player on the field, Ashwin, for a deep shot in the end zone. Ashwin played a great game on both offense and defense but it took our handlers all game to find him. When we did finally send him the disc deep he came down with the score as we knew he would! So excited to have Ashwin on our team and can’t wait to see how he progresses throughout the season. With Michelle and Zach trading out points, Orange has an ever steady set of calm persistent handlers paired with some smart and speedy and cutting from Tommy and Josh. We have a lot of experience on Orange that seemed to serve us well, at least for this week.
Some notably awesome Spirit from the game:
– Orange giving a ‘mulligan’ to one of the newer players who dropped the pull
– Zack and Billy’s fun and entertaining match ups
– Literally 0 fouls all game!
Great game White! Hopefully another full moon doesn’t go by before we play you again.
