This weeks game against white brought the competitiveness out in the all the players. Jill and Drew Hiatt brought out some intensity and showed us it wasn’t going to be easy. Clea and Jill showed some great captain skills and great spirit as well! We had a great time together and we really look forward to future games against white team.
Cardnial MVP: Will Marberry
From the first score huck to all the run-through D’s there was no question Will was up for our MVP. He played an incredible game with 3 assists, 2 scores and 3 D’s. He’s always ready to pick up the toughest matchups and show everyone how great he is! Looking forward to seeing his skills rise through the season.

Ross, Van, Nes, and Billy pulled down some big hucks!
Daniel Kent seems to have found his role as a handler, continuously moving the disc with his other handlers and finding the sweet spots through the zone defense to hit some great upline throws.
Grant Wise also had a great game, He had some amazing cuts and played great defense. He never let his guy have an easy catch. I’d keep your eyes on this guy, his skills are going to take off… it’s only a matter of time.
Sydney Weiner was absolutely fearless. She threw both a hammer over an entire zone to a wide open Will for a score and did the same thing with a blade’y backhand to Nes!
Kyle Stromgberg and Billy Field found themselves in the endzone with the disc numerous times and scored more than half the points of the game between themselves!
While Ross is a great handler he showed us he is not to be underestimated in the airspace with an impressive clutch sky preventing a score.
Van played a jack-of-all trades game. He played hard defense and was an asset on the flow of our offense. He seems to always be wide open and shows some serious athletics when contesting a jump ball.
Caroline is continuing to show us her handling skills and moving the disc. She was wide open for a great catch to set our momentum for the game.
