First day of the season and the turtles were here to play! At 6:00 the turtles were ready to play with a line of Brandon Bowlin, Brandon, Mr. Bowling, oh and Brandon Bowlin. With a hearty warmup of cleating up and running to the line the turtles marched into battle against the bats! The Turtles suffered a devastating loss against the Bats due to stellar performances from their roster. Sir Andrew Cory soaring in the deep space from hucks by Nic and Billy, with Rachel and the Connors swooping in for the unders. The turtles had their own moments with the Buchanan’s connecting for a score, and Francisco rising to be one of our top defensive stars.
After a slow and steady first game the Turtles were crawling at full speed for their game against the Cranes! Full crawl ahead the turtles emerged victorious! This was no easy feat, with Will Le flying in for a huge D, David getting an ever other point with a score, and some beautifully placed hucks Dheeraj. Some notable feats from the Turtles included a revenge play by Clyde taking back the frisbee and scoring with bookends and a twin connection hammer to SkyCaio,
