Loading Contingency Report File 3: Vs Oppressive Owls…
The Court of Owls have always been natural enemies of Bats. Nocturnal, airborne, silent killers, they’ll look to assert their dominance at every level of the skies. A roster with no discernible weak point means we can’t rely on exploiting certain matchups.
Objectives
- Stop the Joe to Ellie connection
- Start the game with a full line (failed)
- Figure out if there’s a way to make Jack ineligible for league
Initial engagement findings
- This might be the most well constructed roster in the league. No apparent holes, and the most diverse combination of the endurance of youth and the skill of veterans puts this team in a prime position to win games
- Jack is a monster in the air. Look into spinal augmentations to add another 6 inches to our MMPs’ heights to compete
- Stop Alana and Ellie from being open on unders. It puts her in a prime position to dump to her handlers going upline for free power position. Hockey assists may not be tracked but this duo set up multiple scores
- Billy proves that anyone can still make a sick layout, even if your birth year starts with a 19
- Shea may have arrived late but the way he was burning defenders merits further investigation. Maybe send Thomas into the swamps to grant him the same super powers?
- Rosie’s IntimiaDs leading to late game breaks kept us in this competition, making a case for MVP despite this 7-11 loss
End report
Loading Contingency report file 4: Vs Crazy Cranes…
Another aerial matchup sets us up for quite the dogfight. A heavy skew in drafting college players means these cranes will be relying more on their legs than any team we’ve played so far. Fortunately, bats don’t play in the dirt.
Objectives
- Maintain aerial superiority
- Capitalize on turnovers
- Let Thomas throw shade from the sideline
Initial Engagement findings
- Andre’s ability to make plays is unparalleled. A sliding catch in the end zone prevents a costly turnover in a tight contest. Even more importantly, a Callahan going into half crushes the spirits of a Crane squad looking to rebound
- Rosie continues her defensive campaign
- Aiden’s hand block on Aymo earns him a D and the rights to the name
- Annika’s ability to get open in the under space proves problematic. Should her team play slower, elderly frisbee, they stand to gain many yards through her
- Ricardo’s ability to rally this team through fun fact callouts after scores is proving effective. Consider implementing to keep team morale up
The bats first loss comes at an unfortunate time, a pair of titans facing us next week. Good thing Alfred taught us all about learning to pick ourselves back up after we fall.
