Carolina Blue came in hot this first week. Taught our rookies man and zone already and they are killing it. Everyone just has this pure athletic talent and uplifting spirit that I think is really going to make us shine this season.
Our first game against Orange went very well. Though we did get lucky at times, like Orange dropping the first pull of the game, we won 7-3 because of Zach’s lovely assists, Mac’s deep cuts for great catches in the endzone, and Rainer and I being the only ones to make silly turns.
I was really proud of us in our game against the stacked yellow team. We lost 6-8 to a team that has some crazy good dudes. We brought out a zone for the first time and generated a couple D’s with it. Our stats sheet had single tallies scattered throughout which shows that we are really playing as a team.
We are having a lot of fun. Shea and I are so excited to see us grow from here.
