I have learned to not type up my league reports directly into the website – I learned this by losing a super cool and loooooooong write up I wrote for this game since I added an image that apparently was too big.
Long story short (cause we had a good crowd for the fun part of the game) – Brown dug their typical hole in the first half going down 3-6 – figured it out on offense and defense (we have Pat and Trevor to thank on both sides of the disc) to take half 8-6. Then SkyBlue figured it out… Tied us up at 8s, 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, and 14s. But Brown never gave up and managed to win it and seal a semifinals date with Zach’s Royal Pains.
Shoutout to Chris Oster for coming up big on offense for the Suprisingly Thiccc Sky team but an even bigger shoutout to Jia for being an offensive monster for Brown tearing it up in the middle of the field and the endzone. Pat and Trevor created so much momentum for Brown with sick Ds all over the place and they are going to be a menace for Zach and the Royal Pains in their semifinals loss and whoever we end up playing in finals – excited to see who comes out on top in Red v Purple.
