They played twice as many points (read: played savage) had twice as many moons, and played twice the game we expected. Do not count Forest out of this just yet!
I don’t have much to say except that this was a really fun game. Forest has great spirit and even greater players. First half was pretty evenly matched at 8-7 Royal. Second half started the same but then Forest mistakenly called a time-out at 10-11 Forest. Aaron gave one of his thick pep talks and we decided we were ready to finish the game so we could start celebrating Emily K’s birthday (happy birthday Emily!!) Royal came out of the time-out real thick and closed the game out at 15-11.
Royal MVP: Jeffery Burdette. Jeffery played some excellent shut down defense. Each week I am more and more stoked to have this man on our team! He plays smart and hard and is a huge presence on the field.
Forest MVP: Munir Ben Jemaa. Munir was everywhere tonight. You need help under, Munir. You wanna huck it to the endzone, Munir. You need a clutch defense, Munir. It was honestly just really fun to watch this man play.
