Game 1 RED VS GREEN
This one could be chalked up to an honestly close game, but some gameplay found its way to mention. First and foremost great job to both team for having good spirit with little tension or fighting 🙃
Green came out of the gate ready to play and took and early lead over red, who after a few points of finding footing and making adjustments rallied back with 2 consecutive breaks. This brought the game quite close upon approaching time cap. Unfortunately for Red, Green was able to pull out a second break tying the game, only to then continue on for a final break and score to come out on top 7/6. As said before, this game was a very close one keeping all players on their toes and pushing themselves to secure the win. Despite the constant effort from Ben, Evan, and especially Coley with a huge layout catch (just barely out of bounds 🙄) all from the Red team, it wasn’t enough to stop the seemingly undefeated Dustin/ Kate duo, along with Nathan, who know how to keep the Green both cohesive and effective. Great game GREEN! I look forward to beating you soon 😝
Game 2- RED VS GOLD
Red vs Gold? More like, Red vs Gassed! Unlike the first game, this one was not close. Now giving credit where credit is due, I know this game would have been much closer had not the Blue team worn them down taking them to a very close game, only adding to the fact of Joe & Ellie having to leave a little early at the start of our game. Although Gold played with appreciated optimism and continual effort, it was no match for the newly rested Red team who was now firing on all cylinders. Huge plays like Evan’s 12ft leap into the air spiking the frisbee like a volleyball, Jon’s quick work to get 3 D’s, Jerads sick layout D, and Rachael’s unmatched cutting in midfield made Red look clean and well organized closing the game 11/3.
Great game to Gold, and I look forward to a better match up with a full squad and fresh to play 🤙
