Despite our low numbers and a missing Captain Shea this week, things went swimmingly for your Carolina friends. We just blue it all up.
White was definitely missing people this go round as well but still had great disc movement. We started a little late as we both had low numbers but we were able to take half with a pretty good lead. White got many points back but we held em and finished 10-8. Nick got some crazy Ds and we saw scores across the board from Michelle, Nate, Rashaid, Sara, Tomas, and myself. Michelle and I complained about the sharpness of Deanna’s cuts and I definitely heard our men complain about the flexible strategic play style of Palmer.
With the blue on blue action, we also finished 10-8 with a decent lead at half. Both teams were definitely getting tired and sloppy and were thankful for hard cap to go off and finish the game. We had several sick Ds in this game from Chip, Bailey, Tomas, and Zach. Tomas was also a scoring machine with 4 of the ten. Nate stepped up as the master of assists for Zach who sat out after injuring himself catching and scoring a throw from me. I need to learn peoples names better but yall had one guy that kept getting open deep ALL the time. And I know Kaylen gave our ladies a run for their money.
We had good fun playing yall. Hoping to have a full squadron next week.
