Game1: Marsh Mermaids v Shaaron
Score: 15-9 Mermaids
The Mermaids came out strong again this week, with some help from their Jukebox friends, and started the game with four quick points. Then Aaron from Shaaron showed up and gave Shaaron (plus some jukebox friends) a nice boost, with a couple beautiful hammers and a great catch in the endzone while being well guarded by Devin. The came was mostly back and forth for the remainder with the Mermaids prevailing 15-9.
On the Mermaid’s side, Billy and Nathan played great all game, with both making a couple of spectacular catches in the endzone or very close to it. Jukebox provided a couple of key handlers in the form of Joe and Chris, which was much needed since both Cooper and Tom were out. Jono and Judah both had some really nice throws as well for the Mermaids. But the Mermaids MVP was Reagan, who was virtually unstoppable the entire day, making great cuts and helping the Mermaids move it up the field. Overall it was a very fun and well spirited game, and we are glad that Shaaron, Jukebox, and Mermaids were able to come together to make this game happen!
