Another Sunday Funday playing ultimate and hanging out with friends. Can’t really ask for a better day and you know…winning is always of course an added bonus 😉
Charcoal, with our many huddle names we’ll see which one sticks, played Black and won 15-13. What a game it was, we only were up at 14-13, the rest of the game we were always down or tied. It was a really good first game to get us all knowing each other’s names, seeing what everyone likes to do on the field and really coming together to win that game. Goodily Good Times!
Black looked good real good, even with missing some people. Cause I love my ladies I’ll shout out to them first, the B.B.C. over there crushing and dominating. Bari, Bonnie and Caroline are quite the trio. They really worked well together with their cutting and continuations to each other a lot of the time. They each play a huge role on that team downfield that’s for sure! Oh also one more lady…Ness was equally crushing n dominating on the sidelines keeping stats/scores and watching lil Phibs…black is lucky to have her for sure.
The dudes played pretty dang good too. Max and Clyde were working that disc with Ben C and Sam all day! They’d have good ol Dale or Tony always getting open downfield… Ben B and Justin holding there own playing solid like usual. And Patrick had a really great game too. Pretty much they all played killer on the first day together so beware of the black attack!!
As for my ahhmazing team, I’m very excited to see what we all have in store this season. We have a fun funny squad eager to teach and learn, lots of new bees which is awesome! We also have Gr8house back out at league!
I’m proud of Charcoal with how we played on Sunday. We never gave up, we really kept our cool, our head in the game and won. Woohoo!!
Our ladies definitely played badass. Sara, my bestie, is that secret something that comes alive when you need her to and throws these amazing throws cross field. I love playing with her!! And then we have Meirah, what a great pickup played in WI she was cutting nonstop open all the time, it was perfect. Ryan and Evan are a great lil handling duo, glad we got em. Barker is always fun to play with on the field and have his voice in the huddles. The three of them were definitely making big plays happen with our downfield crew like Adam…man that kid can catch anything and everything. Super fun to watch!! Steve and Collin, that was a great pair to snag, they were cutting nonstop, always open. Alacorn had a solid game handling and catching scores. Brycen and Keaton are great additions to the team, we’ll definitely see big things out of them throughout the season. Pretty sure our turning point of the game though was definitely when Carson and Jim Davis showed up for second half. We needed them! Now only if Fleming would’ve been there, we would’ve been complete. ♡jill
