Sage continued our stellar trend of having a great time and playing ALMOST as well as we could
Our game against royal was better polished than our previous week. Far less turns and a lot more spreading the disc around. Matt Flanagan was all over the place with some impressive cutting and Aiden DeTurris had a breakout game with multiple scores and solid man defense. Despite sincere efforts, Royal’s handler motion was very solid and they consistently stayed ahead by a few points.
Black was a game cut short due to weather (thanks Florida), but was one of the best games so far in the season. Spirits were high and everyone was having a good time. Sam was pivotal making strong cuts from the handler position and Speedy’s all around role was excellent. Jill had a PHENOMENAL catch in the endzone despite excellent defensive effort from Jess Peterson. Green definitely found some handler stride with good back and forth between Cooper, Evan, and Maddy. Shout to Alek Hartzog for a phenomenal sky in the endzone. All points were holds until one break that occurred just before the game was called for weather. Can’t wait to play black again!
