The ultimate frisbee game between Royal Flush and Lucky Rollers was a nail-biter from start to finish. Royal Flush started strong, pulling ahead with some solid defensive plays and sharp offensive moves. Lucky Rollers didn’t back down, though, and fought their way back into the game, tying it up several times. In the end, Royal Flush managed to edge out a win with a final score of 14-13.
Royal Flush had some real standout moments. Thomas and Pat were defensive stars, with Thomas getting a key block early on and Pat racking up multiple stops, especially in the second half. Billy was a playmaking machine, dishing out assists left and right to Coach, Sam, Ani, Rachel, Pat, and Mike. Sam also had a big game, scoring multiple times and making a huge defensive play by skying over Drew and then assisting on a score.
Lucky Rollers also put up a great fight. Drew, Naomi, and Annika were key players, keeping their team in the game. Drew was a constant scoring threat, while Naomi’s cutting and throws helped close the gap. Annika’s defense in the second half was particularly disruptive to Royal Flush’s offense. Despite their efforts and some impressive plays, Lucky Rollers just couldn’t quite seal the deal, ending with a close loss.
