Sorry for the very late report everyone! 2 weeks ago, we played against JAK Pot and unfortunately lost 15-11. I don’t remember a ton about this day despite the fact that it was really windy. We would try to run a zone in the wind, but then we kinda forgot that we were playing Kate and Dustin. These 2 absolutely dismantled our defense and our whole game plan revolved around how to slow down these 2 juggernauts. On our side, Jared continued to show his dominance on the offensive side with 6 more assists to add to his grand total. Our ladies once again bailed us out of having really bad attendance, so shoutout to all the pink ladies out there. Schimmel showed up late and sparked a small comeback rallying a beautiful huck and a D, but unfortunately wasn’t enough to propel us to success. According to our stat sheet, the wind had 3 D’s on the day, so we’ll give the wind the MVP for the day.
Unfortunately, I’ll be gone for the big game tomorrow, but I trust Pink Slips to execute and get another win for us. Or as I sit here at my office and hear the thunder shaking the building, maybe a small part of me hopes that it gets rained out so i don’t miss a week.
