My memory of this game is very foggy, granted, I didn’t even know the score of the game as it was happening… but nonetheless I’m gonna yap about what went down. Before the game started it was very rainy and I honestly didn’t know if game 6 was gonna happen and so did a lot of my team APPARENTLY because we were very low on numbers that day as we only had 9 brothers total lol.
Everyone on that showed up made it on the stats sheet which is a huge W for #inclusion which is what I’m all about my first league captaining!!! Aiden had only 3 turns this game and I’m so proud of him yaaaas Aiden #improvement. Andrew Cory was balling with 3 assists, 4 tall man scores, and 3 long limbed Ds. Champion also went crazy and got 2 scores that night, I bet one of those was for his Dad as OG Plant got a case of the stanky leg and was out for this game. Dustin had 5 assists and 3 short king Ds. Hayley was in the perfect spots and the right time and earned herself 2 scores. Kate was superb as always and had 4 assists and 5!! scores. Kyle had 1 assist and Anton had 1 assist and 1 score. Overall, my team absolutely slayed against Texas, but I felt like there were some points where we were playing a little too relaxed and not grinding as hard as we usually would with an almost full roster but that’s ok. League is all about fun and joshing around amirite.
As for Texas, they put up a solid H stack on offense and it was tiring for our cup to constantly have to switch off their handlers. As a tribute to Beyonce popular song “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” we did not get “held” by Texas and instead, we got ’em.
I couldn’t be more happier and excited for the end of the season and I’m proud of my baller teammates. Expect to see us cook as we go against Lucky Rollers tomorrow… for now #WhoIsJak and #WhereIsThePot
