Nasty Heather of the game: Max – determined by dirtiness (dude was laying out and going up and just generally being a badazz flatballer)
This was a GREAT game, but Heather was plagued by bad throws and dropsies. We were able to rally back towards the end, but a VERY solid and reliable Grurple squad closed it out 15-13.
There was a lot of talk about who won the draft and the competencies of each respective team at the beginning of the season, but I personally think this is one of the most balanced leagues we’ve seen. Every team has its proficiencies and deficiencies, but all of them are figuring out how to capitalize on what they do well, and combat their weaknesses. Green is no exception.
With a solid group of handlers, some zippy cutters, and the steadfast leadership of Puffs and Colverson, this team can beat any other team in league. Also, keep an eye on Jessica Peterson, won of league’s rising stars. She seems to find space no matter what the defense does.
Great game, and good luck in the playoffs, Grurple!
