This was a really fun game with a lot of highlights and great plays by both teams. Forrest green was a great opponent, not only in skill, but in spirit too. We are looking forward to playing them again the the future and to see their players excel!
MVP for Forrest Green: Jenn (Fresca) Maresca!! This girl is astonishing on the field, dominating the handler space. There is nothing she cannot do, she throws hucks left and right as well as occasional hammers for a score. She also played every point of the game (which is A LOT of running) and never got tired!
MVP for Cardinal: Alex Richardson!!! Woop woop! This lady showed us great skills on the field in the past few weeks, but really flexed on everyone this week. She had scores, assists and Ds showing us she can do it all. She ran the full field, was undefeatable on offense and was always open on the under cuts for her handlers. Overall we cannot wait to see this fierce lady dominate in the next weeks.
Honorable Mentions:
Billy Field: Once again, this man is unstoppable, he had 7 scores and 6 Ds. Honestly man, save some stats for the rest of us, jeez.
Grant Wise: This guy always shows us his versatility as a player, he was great on both offense and as always had great run through Ds.
Kyle Strombreg: This man is a running machine! No one can stop his offensive cuts and he also had great throws for assists.
Matt Baldwin: Once again Matt showed us his great cutting skills as well as his AMAZING HAMMER technique.
Ross Lynam: Overall a great handler who never fails to throw great assists for an easy score. He makes it look so easy.
Sydney Weiner: Let me tell you this girl is fierce! She is always open in a zone, knows exactly where to cut and has great throws as well.
WillMar: This man’s flicks are insane! He keeps throwing assists, but he is also not scared to put his body on the line for a great D.
